I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Plant Ecology Research Lab at the Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research (WSL) and EPFL. I am broadly interested in how plants are impacted by anthropogenic climate change. I mainly take an ecophysiology approach to understand how plants respond functionally to different climatic conditions, also integrating remote sensing and plot-based monitoring into my toolkit.
I focus primarily on trees in both natural forests and urban environments ranging from the hot/humid tropics to the cool temperate zone and everywhere in between, using a variety of observational and manipulative experimental designs to explore acclimation and adaptation to long-term heat and drought.
